The Miami Heat would be the best thing going in the NBA. A pair of double-digit victories to open the postseason has been doing whatever effective was needed after last year's championship run. Yet heat have yet to exhibit their utmost hand. And that is not an inference the basketball world made after catching a glimpse of death from the South Beach stars. Rather, it's an immediate entry from Miami's crucial factor, reigning MVP LeBron James. James said that despite Dwyane Wade's extraordinary stat range in Game 2 (21 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two bargains) and his awe-inducing putback slam, his All-Star teammate continues to be irritated by the knee injury that held him sidelined for eight of Miami's final 14 games in the standard time. "I know he wasn't 100 percent," James saidA( viaAChris Tomasson of Fox Sports Florida). "It is just his will... Ideally that knee continues to get every game and better each. If it does, no telling [how good the Heat could be]." Well, there's a slight indication of Miami's enormous potential. From Feb. 3 to March 25, this same group rattled off 27 straight victories, dismantling its opponents by over 11 points per game through the stretch (via Basketball-Reference.com). And those groups aren't lucky enough to be using the same loaded deck as Miami, or enjoying the same subsequent margin of error that provides. Before these playoffs are over whether or not Wade can find his way back to 100 %, the rest of the lineup should still be entertaining tournament feelings. James is right; there is no telling so how strong this business could easily get with a healthier Wade leaving his imprint on both ends of the floor. But the real question is whether or not that will actually influence which group will be when June comes around the last one standing.
