'We want Lewandowski to keep ' - Watzke dismisses Bayern Munich and... - Yahoo! Sports

Borussia Dortmund normal director Hans-Joachim Watzke insists he'd rather lose star striker Robert Lewandowski free of charge next summer than sell him to Bayern Munich or Manchester United. Studies on Wednesday related the Poland global with a move to the Bavarians, with the representative of Jupp Heynckes declaring an offer was all but complete for the former Lech Poznan forward. The fact is that Robert has a contract around till 2014. "Unlike Mario [Gotze] he has no release clause. We want Robert to play next year in Dortmund, for this we will waive a transfer payment. But firstly all we've to consult with Robert. He is one of our most important people and a great person. "We have an excellent connection and the transfer cost doesn't matter. I'd like him to keep, and in my own life a lot of my wishes came true." Speaking to Sky Germany, Dortmund employer Jurgen Klopp added: "I do not think Lewandowski is on the run. We will maybe not deliver him away." Amid most of the speculation regarding Lewandowski, the ball player himself refused to be drawn on the rumors connecting him with Bayern and was adamant that his focus is strongly on Dortmund. "I am concentrating on Borussia," he told reporters. "We have essential activities in Champions League and the Bundesliga, we have to see what happens then".
