Chelsea FC, FC Barcelona target Neymar 'has signed for Bayern Munich' - Crunchsports.com

Santos striker Neymar, who has been linked with the likes of Barcelona, Chelsea and Real Madrid, will join Bayern Munich this summer, it has been claimed.

Neymar is arguably the most sought after player in world football today and has been linked with a number of clubs in recent months, with Juventus, Manchester City, rivals Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain all believed to be showing interest in the 21-year-old.

Barcelona are widely seen as favourites to sign the £50million-rated Brazilian, who is out of contract in July 2014, and are believed to be preparing to launch a bid for the 21-year-old when the transfer window reopens.

But although Neymar last week insisted he would not leave South America until after the 2014 World Cup in his homeland, former Santos vice-president Vicente Cascione has claimed the player will link up with former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola at Bayern before the start of next season.

"From August this year on, the player will be part of Bayern's squad. So his next destination will not be Spain, like many expected.

Milner: Manchester United deserved to win Premier League title - Goal.com

The midfielder said it hurt to see Manchester City lose their domestic crown, but is now keen to clinch the FA Cup and reclaim the league from their rivals next season

United beat Aston Villa 3-0 on Monday to claim a 20th league crown after losing out to local rivals City in dramatic style on the final day of last season.

And while Milner believes the better team came out on top, he is hoping him and his team-mates can bounce back by beating Wigan in the FA Cup final before reclaiming the title next year.

"It hurts," Milner told Sky Sports News. "Well done to Manchester United, they're obviously a strong team and the league doesn't lie, so they deserve the league.

"We're massively disappointed, but it fuels the fire for next season and we're desperate to go again next season to try and win it back. Hopefully we can finish this season with silverware.

"We've seen how hard it is to retain the title and how much they [United] used that disappointment from last season to drive them on this year.

"They've been very good in the league, very solid and seem to grind out results every week. They've deserved it and we have to look at where we've gone wrong and try to put that right."

Milner believes City's failure to finish games off during periods of dominance is one the main reasons for losing out to United, adding: "There have been games when we have dropped points when we shouldn't have done.

"There have been games where we've been well on top and not put teams to bed. When we've had that period of dominance in a game, we've not scored two or three more goals and that's maybe where we could have improved this year.

"But if you look at our defensive record this year, it's still very strong and as a team we've got to keep improving."

Dante Booker to Ohio State: Buckeyes Stretch of land 4-Star LB Prospect.

Dante Booker, a talented Akron, Ohio, local and 4-star linebacker get, kept his college football options all over home, settling on Ohio State to continue his playing career with 2014.

247Sports' Steve Wiltfong goes along this statement coming from Booker: "Officially committed for the Ohio State University. inch

The St. Vincent-St. Margaret standout received interest with several programs including Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, Il and Notre Dame. Oklahoma and Nebraska moreover made an offer for the linebacker, who ranks Certainly no. 6 in the nation within the outside linebacker position, based on 247Sports' composite rankings.

With 6'4" and 210 pounds, Booker has the upright, slender frame to match his exceptional athleticism and additionally play-making ability. He isn't among the list of biggest or fastest linebackers from this recruiting class (4. seventy two 40-yard dash), but he has the potential being a tremendous football player at the next level.

Given his play-recognition skills and capacity to fill downhill in assisting the run, Booker may find a good fit for either inside or outside linebacker while using Buckeyes. He still has to add some bulk and work towards disengaging from blockers, but they have a very high ceiling in the college level.

The linebacker hails from a family of runners. His father played both college (Auburn) and experienced football (in the CFL together with AFL) and his mother played college basketball at Ellet High school graduation in Akron (per Michael Beaven for the Akron Beacon Journal).

Booker watched action on St. Vincent-St. Mary's varsity squad to be a freshman and shined as both a decent end and linebacker all through his sophomore campaign. When St. Vincent-St. Mary head coach Dan Boarman explained to Beaven, Booker doesn't try to look for extra attention or your fanfare typically afforded to elite high school prospects, even as the most effective players in Ohio:

It is hard getting a whole lot out of him because one is quiet. He is not a kid that is ridiculous. He is not some of those kids that will come up and say, 'Make sure my picture was in the paper. ' She's just a humble in addition to nice gentleman.

Talent and then a good attitude are the makings to a tremendous football player, and that's exactly what Ohio State is obtaining it Booker. He may need a long time to develop at the following level, but there's no question he'll be described as a quality playmaker and vital defensive component in his formative years with the Buckeyes.

Do you find it Time for New York Knicks get started on Over?

After falling for the Indiana Pacers four games to two inside Eastern Conference Semifinals, it's clear that the new York Knicks lacked the firepower and the wherewithal to brew a championship run this spring.

A mountain of pressure was put on Carmelo Anthony to bring the club, especially within this physical second-round series. He gave it his perfect effort, but it fell short, and he decided not to get enough help.

Indiana exposed Manhattan on many levels, chief most notably being an overreliance over the jump shot and an inability to handle a paint-oriented opponent of which possessed size.

Mike Woodson's experienced guards were overmatched, his energy post players Tyson Chandler together with Kenyon Martin were overly one-dimensional, and the isolation-based play of 'Melo and N. R. Smith was usually detrimental.

Typing in this offseason, the Knicks must go on a good, hard look in the mirror and ask whether the team like its currently comprised will challenge for a title in the near future.

Chief among the dilemmas is whether to maintain J. R. Smith lasting, and whether to hang on to the majority of the veteran role players.

He assemble a brilliant regular season to help the Knicks earn that No. 2 seed; nonetheless, his incredibly inefficient filming ruined New York's opportunities to advance past In.

Signing the veteran reserve to a few more years would likely cost more than they're paying him now, and I don't know in the event the New York brass is preparing to commit to a quantity scorer who's quite one-dimensional.

If you're asking everyone whether keeping him might help them win a championship next couple seasons, the answer is no.

Smith was an exciting scorer and a handy guy to get around during 'Melo's shorter injury absences. However, his style of play is part of the reason New York lagged to topple the underdog Boston Celtics and never upend the Pacers.

There's also the question of what you can do about guys like Jerr Kidd (signed through 2015), Marcus Camby (signed because of 2014) and Pablo Prigioni (restricted cost-free agent in 2013).

Not they all can stay, and they certainly are not a major part of the team's future plans. Although Kidd and Prigioni were effective for high of the season, they were exposed within the playoffs and are the two miles past their primes.

The most crucial obstacle that makes New York's offseason alterations in addition to potential additions so difficult will be the massive percentage of payroll used by Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire.

'Melo is actually going nowhere. Amar'e is the star Knicks fans would enjoy shed. General manager Glen Grunwald would eliminate Stoudemire in a heartbeat if he could find a good price for him.

Stoudemire is owed greater than $45 million over the subsequent two seasons, and for the reason that Knicks already used their own amnesty clause on Chauncey Billups in 2011, the only technique to unload him is by way of trade.

That's a in height order, because his bloated wage and injury-plagued past aren't attractive to anyone. Most NBA trades have to match up financially, and just not worth it for potential suitors.

Really, New York's front office has to deliver another offseason of tricky maneuvering in order to make the club better with 2013-14. Can it add a cost-effective forward like Elton Brand name or DeJuan Blair to help bolster the roster, or outfit come up empty-handed?

Craig Sager Photobombs Might Smith and Son Jaden in Bulls-Heat Game 5.

Craig Sager was others in terms of his game on Wed night, covering Game 5 relating to the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls for TNT.

How come is this necessary news? Given it involves Sager doing something weird, and I want to share as much joy as possible with you guys.

This TNT cameras caught sight of Will Smith in addition to his son, Jaden, resting courtside (and by snagged sight, I mean they a prearranged promo) and locked relating to the pair while Marv Albert did his best to feign surprise and connect their new movie.

Sager, the camera-loving beacon of light in our lives, took advantage in the promo to put her goofy mug on television and introduce us to help you his blindingly loud fit.

His bright-pink threads are 2 or 3 days late for Mother's Morning, but it was some sort of Sager classic nonetheless.

The funny thing about Sager's suit on Wednesday night is that going barefoot was actually a 3-D stereogram. If you stare at it lengthy enough, you see some sort of zeppelin.

Within a postgame interview with Dwyane Sort, Sager drew some comparisons to your Heat star in the case of their fashion sense:

So there you've got it: Wade and Sager share perhaps the most common bond, and Sager's it seems that been taking videobombing lessons from Chris Bosh. How long until Sager gets signed from the Heat to the mini mid-level exception this summer purely for entertainment intentions?

Predicting the Washington Redskins' Phone Depth Chart in 2013.

It can be unfortunate that various injuries kept Pierre Garcon sidelined for a lot of last year because when he played, the Redskins ended up nearly unbeatable. When Garcon matched up, Washington was 10-1 and averaged a staggering 29. 1 points each and every game.

That's the reason there's a lot of optimism at the position for 2013. Garcon is a bona fide Simply no. 1 receiver, one by means of speed and power. His 59-yard touchdown against Dallas showed precisely what makes him a great player—superb hands, blazing speed and to be able to get to the end zone from long run.

For the season, Garcon only caught forty four balls for 633 back yards, but that wasn't indicative of his overall impact. This offense changes when Garcon doesn't mattress group. All of the some other receivers the Redskins have got fit their roles appropriately when Garcon plays, nonetheless when he's out, all the game plan changes because there is simply no one on the offense who can exchange him.

Garcon, arguably, is a most important player relating to the offense in 2013. As soon as he plays, the offense goes; when he fails to, it becomes rather at standstill.

If he stays healthy and balanced, he could post 1, 200 yards and 12 touchdowns and prove that he doesn't need Peyton Manning being a great player.

Rafael Nadal's Harrowing Acquire vs. Gulbis Will Preclude The loss to Novak Djokovic.

Rafael Nadal ended up being rolling right along with 2013 before he reached world No. 46 Ernests Gulbis on Thursday inside the third round of that Rome Masters.

Sure, the proven fact that Nadal lost the earliest set against Gulbis concerning Thursday before battling back off the stretch doesn't automatically project gloom and tragedy. But this has more related to Djokovic's form lately as compared to Nadal's.

Keep in your head, Djokovic was coming off a car accident when he lost to Grigor Dimitrov inside second round of this Madrid Open. It's not an excuse for his deprivation against Dimitrov; it's more of an explanation.

Since his bye inside the first round of that Rome Masters, Djokovic has roared funding convincing fashion, even if it really has been against lesser foes. After still dropping in the first placed to Albert Montanes inside the second round, 2-1, he won 11 for the next 13 games. And it fell beat Alexandr Dolgopolov within the third round, 6-1, 6-4.

Within the win over Dolgopolov, Djokovic received 73 percent of assistance points, via ATPWorldTour. com. This Serb also saved three of three break elements.

Djokovic's rise in 2011 was at large part due to a much-improved serving game, overshadowed just by his dominant return gameplay. He ranked 23rd on tour operating games won (percentage) this season, via ATPWorldTour. com. He ranked seventh in the department in 2011. Your dog ranked sixth in 2012. Headed on the Rome Masters, he ranked sixth in service games won this year.

Nadal lost on clay in Monte Carlo against Djokovic the year of 2010, proving that the edge he once had on the surface isn't as prominent.

With the quarterfinals of the 2013 Rome Masters, I expect Nadal to be able to beat David Ferrer, and additionally I expect Djokovic to help you beat Tomas Berdych, creating a semifinals clash between the two historic players.

Inside the semifinals, expect Djokovic to defeat the reigning champ in Rome, avenging his loss with the final last year.

Houston Texans: Who Is critical to Not Uncovering Ed Reed's Damage?

The most notable story for the Houston Texans during the last 48 hours has been bicycles of Ed Reed's thigh injury. John McClain, Texans beat writer with the Houston Chronicle, first caused it to be known to the world-at-large:

"I wouldn't be shocked if the (Baltimore) Ravens knew he a hip problem as he had the season last 12 months.... You don't tear your labrum just walking around. You know there's something wrong. " (CBS Houston)

Florio branded his article, "Ravens supposed Reed had hip concern, Texans apparently didn't. " This can be a prodigious leap in wisdom. It presumes the Ravens had prior familiarity with the injury, and the Texans were unaware of it when they signed Reed to somewhat of a three-year, $15 million get. All based on what a doctor speculated using her medical experience.

"You cannot see the labrum on a regular x-ray. The bottom tier is, unless a player alerts you to 'I have a cool problem, ' you're probably not planning to get this unless you need to do a very sophisticated MRI of every system of the body and really find this. "

Injured Andy Murray unlikely to play at French Open. From M. Thanks.

Andy Murray says he would be "very surprised" to be fit for the French Open after retiring injured against Marcel Granollers at the Italian Open.

Murray looked troubled throughout and despite battling back to win the second set tie-break on the Rome clay, he then withdrew before the decider.

"Medical prognoses from players in the heat of the moment can prove unreliable, but Andy Murray's instinct is telling him that he's a serious doubt for Roland Garros.

"The decision to retire from the match came swiftly, and after his most inspired tennis, and he will now consult a range of experts before deciding whether the French Open is a realistic option.

"With Wimbledon and his US Open title defence on the horizon, Murray is concerned that a series of gruelling matches on clay could have even more serious long term repercussions."

"I pulled out because there was a good chance I would be playing tomorrow if I got through. As it is, I'd be very surprised if I was playing in Paris," said Murray.

"I need to make a plan as to what I do. I'll chat with the guys tonight and make a plan for the next few days then make a decision on Paris after the next five days."

The Scot's only previous mid-match retirement coincidentally came on his 20th birthday, when he snapped a tendon in his wrist at the 2007 Hamburg Masters.

That was the most serious injury Murray has suffered and led to him missing both the French Open and Wimbledon, and he will be hopeful of avoiding a similar fate this time.

Murray struggled with a lower back problem throughout the clay season last year, one match against Jarkko Nieminen during the French Open prompting former Wimbledon champion Virginia Wade to call him a "drama queen".

He had injections before Wimbledon but said the problem returned in Madrid last week and did not improve with rest. The situation became too much after two sets against Granollers on the Rome clay.

"Until Madrid it had been OK but it's not been perfect for a long period," he added. "You always go into matches with little niggles and such, but it's frustrating when for a long period you're hurting.

"It's been an issue for a while now and I want to make sure it goes away. It's not enjoyable when you're playing in pain."

Granollers, the world number 37, took the first set as Murray struggled to find any rhythm and things looked even worse for the Scot when he required on-court treatment after the third game of the second set.

Murray lost 10 consecutive points following his enforced break for treatment, but the British number one battled on and recovered from 4-1 down to level at 4-4.

Granollers broke Murray's serve in the ninth game but failed to serve out the match in the 10th, and as conditions become increasingly testing, with swirling winds whipping around the court, the set went to a tie-break.

Murray levelled the match when Granollers pushed a forehand long, before heading to his chair and informing the umpire he was retiring - to the amazement of his opponent and the Rome crowd.

Tony adamowicz Parker Says San Antonio Spurs Have got Unfinished Business in WCF.

Following closing out the Wonderful State Warriors in six games, the San Antonio Spurs now advance to face the Memphis Grizzlies inside the Western Conference finals—where they've got unfinished business, according to Tony Parker.

The All-Star point defend hasn't forgotten about last year's disappointing ending inside the conference finals, where the Spurs squandered a 2-0 selection lead, losing four straight away to the Oklahoma City Magic.

Just because Parker, Harry Duncan, Manu Ginobili in addition to Co. have a number of NBA titles on ones own resume doesn't mean these are any less hungry so that you can climb the ladder again.

The French floor general reminded reporters it's far been awhile since this Spurs lifted the Jimmy O'Brien Trophy, and they're itching to repeat the process:

When San Antonio blew a commanding 2-0 lead in the 2012 conference finals, it was eventually a sobering summer to get Spurs fans, because they didn't fully understand whether this veteran-laden group can certainly make one more deep postseason function.

Well, Spurs Nation bought its wish, because Gregg Popovich's crew is back in the final four for the NBA, just four wins from returning to the biggest stage with the sport.

Directly in San Antonio's method are Lionel Hollins' Grizzlies, who instantly make it an unappealing, physical and intense selection.

Memphis held opponents so that you can 89. 3 points per game and played in the slowest pace in the NBA. They may bring their gritty form of play to the AT& T Center Sunday as soon as series kicks off.

Just because the Spurs aren't like slow or contact-oriented doesn't mean they will not be comfortable with your Grizzlies. San Antonio can be a terrific half-court club, along with the mental strength and physical toughness to hold with a team enjoy Memphis.

Spurs fans can expect Duncan, Parker and all of those other squad to deliver the maximum amount of effort as they've truly given. The dispiriting ending on the 2012 playoffs still actually leaves a sour taste inside their mouths.

Gatwick Transfer Rumors: Reds Possess Bigger Needs Than Contributing Danny Rose.

The new rumors involving Liverpool suggest the team has sight for Tottenham's left-back Danny Rose, who played for Sunderland on loan this year.

The England Under 21 star was certainly one of Sunderland's best performers all through his loan spell, and boss Paolo Di Canio is addicted to the 22-year-old.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers failed to sign Rose within the last two transfer windows which is struggling to make this £20million budget stretch.

Look, I realize why the Reds would be intrigued with the young, talented left-back. And I get moving on from players prefer Carroll, Downing and Reina. However , why exactly would Gatwick sell off Enrique, who was simply pretty solid at left-back for any team this year?

Why focus on a position that's solidified, at least with Enrique for the starter, when there are definitely more pressing needs at centre-back, defensive midfield and relating to the wing?

I know Enrique is 27 and may also be inconsistent, but which has a Who Scored match standing of 6. 93 relating to the season, he was far from Liverpool's biggest issue. Sole Leighton Baines of Everton, Patrice Evra involving Manchester United, Gaël Clichy associated with Manchester City and Kieran Gibbs involving Arsenal graded out higher in league play from left-back.

In my opinion, Liverpool's first priority ought to be adding a replacement for ones retiring Jamie Carragher at centre-back. That's easier stated than done, of course, but solidifying the center within the back line is very important.

Then, it should be by means of winger. While I think the attack is normally strong up the midsection with Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge and additionally youngster Philippe Coutinho, I have questions about products you can options on the side.

And while Steven Gerrard and Lucas Leiva are a nice pair in middle midfield, adding a more rugged holding midfielder is a priority if I were manager.

Besides, we don't even know if Tottenham could be keen on selling Raised. Given his strong form shock as to and the fact that Benoit Assou-Ekotto is 29 yrs . old, Spurs may be pleased with loaning him out personally more year or even allowing him to challenge Assou-Ekotto to your starting gig next year.

Simply put, I don't envision Rose finding yourself at Liverpool. With more pressing needs and plenty of reasons to think Tottenham will either keep him to challenge for a good starting spot or lending product him out again shock as to, this rumor is planned more thorns and a smaller amount Rose for Liverpool.

Real Madrid Transfer News: Lewandowski, Cavani, Martinez To Bernabeu ... - International Business Times

Originally reported by German newspaper Bild, Perez whisked the 24-year-old into a secret office for a quick, 10-minute discussion after he notched four goals against Los Blancos in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Lewandowski's dominating performance essentially sealed Dortmund's aggregate victory and booked a place in the championship match on May 25 with Bayern Munich.

His superior attacking skills have been on display throughout the Bundesliga season, with Lewandowski tied for first in the league with 23 goals. In all competitions he has totaled 38 goals, including 10 in Champions League play, and surpassed his career best 33 goals from a year ago.

Signing Lewandowski away from Dortmund could be insurance for Los Blancos, considering the growing rumors that forward Cristiano Ronaldo could make a return to his former club, Manchester United.

The Portuguese superstar reportedly admitted to a United official that he would welcome another go-round at Old Trafford, according to the Daily Star. The admission may have something to do with Madrid manager's Jose Mourinho's expected departure after this season.

Before he announced his retirement this week, the Star quoted Sir Alex Ferguson about his and the Glazer family's desire to spend this summer and bring top talent like Ronaldo to Old Trafford.

"The Glazers have been great - every time I have asked for anything, they have delivered," Ferguson said. "If I was to ask about going for a certain player now, I think they would do it. There has been a wind change. I could maybe go for a top player, if that's possible."

United originally sold Ronaldo to Madrid for £80 million four years ago, and since then he has continued his development as one of the best players in the world.

Lewandowski's value has been pegged above £24 million, and Ronaldo could go for as high as £100 million. Funds have never been scarce at the Bernabeu, but bringing in a young player like Lewandowski at a cheaper price would allow Madrid to spend in other needy areas like a backline consisting of 30-year-olds Pepe and Alvaro Arbelo, and 34-year-old Ricardo Carvalho.

It has been reported that Lewandowski may actually prefer to say in Germany, and instead sign a huge deal with Bayern. Ronaldo may also have changed his mind after news of Ferguson's retirement, and the signing of David Moyes as his replacement. However, Ferguson will still stay on as an advisor and a member of United's board.

Madrid could address their needs on defense with Real Sociedad sensation Inigo Martinez, as reported by Marca last week. The 21-year-old has impressed both Los Blancos and Barcelona, but his contract has a £25 million release clause.

Another striker that has caught the eye of Bernabeu officals is Uruguayan Edinson Cavani of Serie A's Napoli. There are, however, complications to a move.

Spanish newspaper Marca quoted a radio interview by Cavani's brother, Walter Guglielmone, who said his brother has a very expensive release clause. Guglielmone did also say he wants Cavani to play in Spain.

Cavani leads Serie A with 27 goals, and has lifted Napoli to second place on the table and a Champions League berth, a huge improvement from their fifth-place finish last season.

Colonial Customs: The Plaid Jacket.

The Crowne Plaza Invitational along with the Colonial Country Club are heaped with traditions, one of which can be the plaid jacket awarded to its Champions.

Within my 2010 visit to your Crowne Plaza Invitational, Mrs. Golfblogger and I were treated with the traditional quail breakfast while playing a talk by Competition Director Chuck Scherer on the history of the clb, and on the unsecured personal red plaid jackets.

Members' jackets extend into the Colonial's beginnings with 1936, when founder Marvin Leonard opted the club needed a jacket just like those worn by that members at Augusta. The original jacket was blue, but Leonard switched to a plaid, which he said reminded him of when he'd played in Scotland. The fabric is a real Scottish tartan, and has SEVENTEEN colors in the application.

The members wear them with the tournament (and I expect on other important occasions) and they're not nearly as garish physically as they seem in most photos.

The plaid has become continuously in use, together with awarded to tournament champions with one exception. The club went back to the blue for one year in honor of the tournament's 30th wedding anniversary.

WWE Excessive Rules 2013 Predictions: Wearing Each Title Match.

The 2013 edition within the WWE's Extreme Rules pay-per-view is a few hours away, and the excitement within the card highlighted by three marquee title matches contains the fans ready for Sunday's actions.

Not only is the WWE Championship in the line—a main-event bout around John Cena and Ryback—the point team straps and the country title are also planning to be contested Sunday evening.

All of the next title matches are planned for Extreme Rules and often will help make this one of the best cards of the year. Wrestling fans will love this particular show.

Within the most anticipated match with the night, defending champion John Cena will put his belt at stake against Ryback in a last man standing match.

While Cena is well-known for his resilience in a majority of these matches—just ask the a lot of superstars that have lowered victim to his unwillingness to stay down—the Achilles injury that your WWE has been playing up has produced legitimate doubt.

Ryback has been doing much better in the ring and in the mic, and while beating Cena clean would redeem each one of his previous PPV financial obligations, that is something the WWE has proven it won't do regularly.

Whether it's The Shield or other people, this match will close with both men can't make the 10-count and the match will end within a draw.

Team Hell No are probably the most successful tag teams within the last decade, but their reign above the division is likely going end as they handle The Shield's Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins within a tornado tag team match for any straps.

Daniel Bryan and Kane are better than advertised over the last several months, but the ability to put over two with the brightest young stars inside the company is something the WWE can't pass around.

Along with Dean Ambrose receiving the U. S. concept against Kingston, Sunday's PPV will mark the start of The Shield's hunt for the championship gold in that WWE.

While Kofi Kingston as contrasted with. Dean Ambrose for the u . s Championship is not a dream match on paper, the immense skill of each and every man in the hoop will result in possibly the best technical showcases of the night.

Ambrose has years of experience on the indy scene among the best workers in the business, and with Kingston's high-flying type, this is a perfect matchup of contrasting styles designed to work perfectly together.

There is little doubt of the fact that WWE will do everything in its capacity to make the face look strong from this match, but with much bigger plans for any Shield going forward, there does exist little doubt that Ambrose walks because of Extreme Rules the cutting edge U. S champ.

NBA Lottery 2013: Full Odds and First-Round Order per each Team.

Tuesday's draft lottery give a much clearer indication of what to expect when the 2013 NBA draft comes together on June 27. Precisely as it stands, much of the selection process is still very much up in the surroundings.

In posting a 20-62 record, the Orlando Magic have put themselves available to secure the Simply no. 1 selection in this approach year's draft. While they hold 25 percent odds of doing except, recent history suggests we're able to see another surprise organization take the stage to your first selection, though.

Only four times with the 28 years of the lottery offers the team with the most detrimental regular-season record secured the primary pick in the pen, the last of that is in 2004. The team to take some action? The Orlando Magic.

The Charlotte Bobcats and Cleveland Cavaliers are in good position to win the main pick, however. With 19. 9 and 15. 6 p . c odds, respectively, it wouldn't be surprising to see one of many two teams jump that magic in draft positioning to get some of this draft's class' top dogs talent.

Let's take a look at the lottery odds in addition to draft order and break up which players could wear line to be the first selected in the May 27 entry draft.

Despite suffering a devastating ACL tear over the 2012-13 season, Nerlens Noel should maintain line to be among the list of first players selected within the NBA draft. He offers the talent and tremendous potential to be the first overall go with, but teams will be especially interested in how far along the center is in recovering out of that injury.

At 6'11" in addition to 216 pounds, Noel has the length and athleticism as being a nightmare for opposing frontcourts. Around 31. 9 minutes per game together with the Wildcats, the big boyfriend recorded 10. 5 points, 9. 5 rebounds in addition to 4. 4 blocks for contest, drawing comparisons to the likes of Bill Russell.

It remains to get seen how he will perform with the NBA level, but hopefully we won't ought to wait too long to find out. Regardless of his timetable for bring back to the court, Noel will be one of many first players to find a home in the write.

Noel's knee injury may open the threshold for Kansas shooting safeguard Ben McLemore to anticipate the role as Zero. 1 overall pick this coming year. As good as the Kentucky center might, there's much less probability in selecting the purest shooter in college the game of basketball.

At 6'5" and 185 fat, McLemore has the ideal frame with the 2-guard position in this NBA. Paired with a very quick release and a good three-point stroke often as compared to that of Ray Allen, McLemore is practically unguardable.

The freshman didn't play all that well in the NCAA contest, but his regular-season numbers (15. 9 points for game, 42 percent from regarding the arc) suggest a little drop in postseason production should be nothing to worry around.

The first selection will more than likely depend on which company manages to secure that No. 1 pick, nevertheless. No team is without necessity for a tremendous outside scorer like McLemore, but positional need could play a big part in where he is ultimately selected.

Andy Murray says he'd be "very surprised" to be fit for the German Open after retiring hurt against Marcel Granollers for the Italian Open.

The Briton endured some miserable 26th birthday since he retired from his second-round tie which includes a lower back injury.

Murray looked troubled around and despite battling returning to win the second set tie-break over the Rome clay, he then withdrew prior to a decider.

"Medical prognoses from players inside heat of the instant can prove unreliable, but Andy Murray's behavioral instinct is telling him that he's a significant doubt for Roland Garros.

"The decision to retire in the match came swiftly, along with after his most impressed tennis, and he will now consult several experts before deciding perhaps the French Open is an authentic option.

"With Wimbledon and her US Open title defence beingshown to people there, Murray is concerned that a few gruelling matches on clay could have even more serious long term repercussions. "

"I pulled out because there was a good chance We be playing tomorrow just got through. As it is, I'd be very surprised plainly was playing in London, " said Murray.

"I need to generate a plan as to what Anways, i do. I'll chat with the guys tonight and make an insurance policy for the next few days then make our minds up on Paris after next five days. "

This Scot's only previous mid-match retirement coincidentally came on this 20th birthday, when he snapped a tendons in his wrist within the 2007 Hamburg Masters.

That's the most serious damage Murray has suffered and brought about him missing both your French Open and Wimbledon, and he's going to be hopeful of avoiding the same fate this time.

Murray struggled using a lower back problem during the entire clay season last 365 days, one match against Jarkko Nieminen during the French Open prompting former Wimbledon champion Virginia Wade to telephone him a "drama queen".

He'd injections before Wimbledon but said however, the problem returned in Madrid a while back and did not increase with rest. The situation became an excessive amount after two sets against Granollers to the Rome clay.

"Until Madrid it ended up being OK but it's not been perfect for a long time, " he added. "You always visit matches with little niggles and additionally such, but it's frustrating when for a long period you're hurting.

"It's been an issue for a short time now and I want to assure it goes away. It's not actually enjoyable when you're playing in pain. "

Granollers, the world number 37, took the main set as Murray struggled to obtain any rhythm and things looked even worse for the Scot as soon as he required on-court treatment following third game of cost-free set.

Granollers broke Murray's serve inside ninth game but never serve out the match with the 10th, and as circumstances become increasingly testing, with swirling winds whipping across the court, the set decided on a tie-break.

Murray levelled this match when Granollers encouraged a forehand long, before advancing towards his chair and revealing to the umpire he was retiring - to your amazement of his opponent along with the Rome crowd.

Preakness Stakes 2013: Post Time, TV Schedule and More

Following a dominant performance down the stretch at Churchill Downs two weeks ago, Kentucky Derby winner Orb will look to move within one win of becoming the first Triple Crown winner in 35 years by conquering the 2013 Preakness Stakes.

The annual thoroughbred racing event is held at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore and is run on a 1 3/16-mile dirt track, the shortest of the three Triple Crown races.

In 2012, it was I'll Have Another stealing the show, winning the Stakes to become the fifth horse since 2002 to win the first two legs of the Triple Crown. If Orb is going to become the first horse since 1978's Affirmed to win all three legs, he'll have to follow in I'll Have Another's footsteps on Saturday.

Shug McGaughey's talented colt has won five straight races dating back to last November, including the Grade II Fountain of Youth Stakes and the Grade I Florida Derby prior to May 4's Run for the Roses.

Despite his dominance, Orb, who drew the rail on Wednesday, will have to overcome a poor post draw on Saturday if he's going to keep the Triple Crown bid alive. It's been 19 years since a horse won the Preakness from the rail.

The good news for jockey Joel Rosario, though, is that there are only nine horses in this year's field, which means Orb will have a better chance of getting out cleanly.

Following a fifth-place finish at the Kentucky Derby two weeks ago, Mylute will look to spoil Orb's Triple Crown bid in Baltimore this weekend.

Ridden by Rosie Napravnik, the Grade II Louisiana Derby runner-up will start smack dab in the middle of the nine-horse field, from post No. 5.

There's certainly no reason for Napravnik or trainer Tom Amoss to fret over Mylute's starting post on Saturday. After all, it's been only two years since a horse won the Preakness from post No. 5. Shackleford won from that slot in 2011.

Plus, Mylute demonstrated excellent closing speed at Churchill Downs two weeks ago, fighting off a sluggish start out of the gate to finish strong. With fewer horses to contend with on Saturday, Mylute is certain to be in the mix down the stretch.

Albert Stall's emerging colt Departing did not run in the Kentucky Derby two weeks ago, but he did win the Grade III Illinois Derby in his most recent outing last month.

Running from post No. 4, Departing will look to make up for his third-place finish in the Grade II Louisiana Derby last March by winning the Preakness Stakes. He currently has the third-best odds to win behind Orb and Mylute.

While there is some doubt about the level of competition Departing has faced in his previous races, the results speak for themselves. In five career races, the impressive colt has produced four wins, finishing in the money in all five events.

With only nine horses set to run this weekend, perhaps the stage is set for Departing to deliver an upset from post No. 4 at Pimlico.

Preakness 2013: Why Low Payout for Orb Makes Favorite a Bad Bet

After winning the Kentucky Derby in convincing fashion, Orb enters the Preakness Stakes as the overwhelming favorite. This is not necessarily the best bet to make on Saturday.

This means that a successful bet on the top contender would provide a return of less than your original price. While Orb is good, he is not solid enough to justify this low payout.

Despite winning five straight races, a lot had to go in the horse's favor to continue this streak. One major factor was the muddy track at Churchill Downs, where his experience paid off against some of the other competitors.

Other contenders like Goldencents and Itsmyluckyday struggled in those conditions earlier in the month, but they should be stronger at Pimlico. Newcomers Govenor Charlie and Departing should also be tough to beat.

However, the biggest issue that could hold Orb back from winning the second leg of the Triple Crown is the post position. He will have to start from the No. 1 slot, which could end up being a problem.

We saw at the Kentucky Derby what jockey Joel Rosario wanted to do with his mount. From the No. 16 post, he did not even try to get into good position at the start and was very comfortable sitting behind the pack. It was not until the final turn that Rosario pushed the horse to the front.

Unfortunately, this strategy might not be possible at the Preakness. Starting close to the rail will force Orb to get a good start; otherwise, he could end up being trapped inside with no room to maneuver. This will especially be true with the fast-starting Goldencents starting at No. 2.

Additionally, history is not on Orb's side entering the prestigious race, according to David Grening of Daily Racing Forum:

The Kentucky Derby winner will have to overcome a long list of failed runners at this event. Based on the competition around him, it will not be too easy.

Orb is likely the most talented horse in the race, but that does not always lead to a win. There are too many factors at play that can prevent him from entering the winner's circle.

With this in mind, it would be a smarter move to place a bet on one of the other contenders that could hopefully bring a better payout.

ESPN President: Network ‘Should Have Become More Careful With Chelsea Broussard’.

Now how does ESPN really feel about Chris Broussard's anti-gay Jerrika Collins rant on a airwaves last month? After first distancing per se from Broussard's comments on Beyond your Lines without really decreasing on one side or one another, ESPN president John Skipper today addressed the problem head-on.

"I think we did great other than we made one slip-up: The mistake was not really being more careful by means of Chris Broussard, and there's a simple collective responsibility there. Chris Broussard's job was in the future on and talk regarding the news of the league, how the league was representing it, and through several events he made personal comments that is a mistake. "

"I had some sort of discussion with everybody. That they said, 'Look, we brought [ESPN. com columnist] LZ Granderson up on talk from a personal point of view, and we brought Chris on being a reporter and it was an error for him to corner the line into a personal viewpoint there. ' We don't quarrel in reference to his right to have any personal mindset, although we do assert for a company that we have a tolerant mind-set, we are a several company, and that doesn't necessarily represent what our business thinks. "

First of all, any time a broadcaster can get uninterrupted air time using a national network to show his personal views, and be able to less than 24 days later feels compelled to be able to issue a statement "clarifying" their comments, he should oftimes be doing something else for any living. Broussard wasn't hired with regard to his crackpot opinions — they've got Skip Bayless to the.

"I'm a Christian. I don't are in agreement with homosexuality. I think it's some sort of sin, as I think all sex in the vicinity of marriage between a man together with a woman is…. If you're openly require unrepentant sin, whatever it may be … that's walking around open rebellion to God and to Jesus Christ. "

He later released a statement that he wrote: I believe Jason Collins displayed bravery together with his announcement today.

Of course Broussard's realistic moment of truth will not likely come in Skipper's luxurious office. It will occur a long time down the road, when everyone will realize in hindsight the best way short-sighted and bigoted his viewpoint actually was, and his words are still out there, floating inside the ether. Will Ozzie Guillen As the Next Manager of the Are generally Dodgers?

From his infamous rants on the media to the play of his players to the field, Guillen always seems to look through way to make this headlines.

Currently out associated with a job, is it possible that Guillen could take control as the manager for the Los Angeles Dodgers if Don Mattingly gets axed?

The Angels and Dodgers might make changes before Memorial Morning, possibly even by tuesday if their teams do not get turned around. Either organization could provide Guillen an unbelievably good an opportunity to restore his good name following your misguided power play your dog made on Jerry Reinsdorf, and Guillen might be as strong a candidate — at least at any given time — as they may find.

Unhappy with his contract status right at the end of the 2011 months, Guillen wanted a arrangement extension. However, the White Sox don't give it to him and he asked to get released from his agreement.

Guillen felt that a result of the White Sox's past success, the team should reward him to comprehend money in his contract.

While it's conceivable that going barefoot could have happened, forcing the White Sox's hand was not the smartest move globally.

The Marlins were inside of a brand-new stadium and had spent a lot of cash on free agents inside the offseason before the start of the 2012 season.

It seemed with Jose Reyes, Mark Buehrle and Heath Bell joining names like Hanley Ramirez and Josh Johnson, the Marlins were going to compete in the scale. They even traded for Carlos Lee part way through the season.

Omar Infante and Anibal Sanchez were transferred off to Detroit with July 23, and Randy Choate and Ramirez followed two days later to Los angeles. Soon Gaby Sanchez was gone to boot, and that was merely in-season.

The Marlins struggled through the rest of the year and finished by using 69 wins. Not content with Guillen's effort, Loria fired him after one simple year in town.

Maybe it had something about his Fidel Castro comments early with the year. Or maybe it was just justification for Loria to reduce him because of precisely how outspoken Guillen is.

When there is a small fortune involved on a roster, owners aren't planning to want to risk ones own high-priced stars being criticized by Guillen within the public. Consider that Clayton Kershaw still hasn't signed a brand new deal, and he might hold that over management's head if he's unhappy by means of Guillen.

It takes a special team to handle Guillen's antics and neither of them the Dodgers nor your Angels, for that matter, are teams that is capable of that.

There are a lot of high-priced egos in a locker room, and Guillen's ego would likely leave no room for anyone to breathe in your clubhouse.

MLB Trade Speculation: All 30 Teams' Biggest Need in the One-Quarter Mark.

That Baltimore Orioles finished the primary quarter six games previously mentioned. 500, and they did it irrespective of an almost automatic out in their batting order and an ace because of their rotation.

Designated hitters with the Orioles produced a woeful. 148/. 244/. 244 rip line with just several home runs. The major culprits were Steve Pearce (. 167) along with Nolan Reimold (. 143).

At some time soon it should be anticipated that vice president from baseball operations Dan Duquette can be addressing that issues.

In addition, the Orioles starting rotation posted a not-so stellar five. 68 ERA in the main quarter. Wei-Yin Chen may be placed on the disabled list with a oblique strain.

Sources: Jurrjens probably will make #Orioles debut Saturday alongside #Rays. 3. 14 PERIOD OF TIME in 8 starts with AAA, 36 Ks, 15 BBs, a pair of HRs allowed in 1951 2/3 IP.

While Jurrjens may also help in the short-term, Jon Heyman from CBSSports. com is reporting that the O's are searching for a more viable long-term alternative.

The Orioles miraculously won a wild-card berth with out top-of-the-rotation starter last months but apparently would feel a whole lot better if they are able to acquire one, possibly of their minor-league ranks but much more likely via trade. There's no guarantee any top starters becomes available via trade, as even early speculation surrounds pitching actors who aren't free agents following year, such as R. A. Dickey, Cliff Lee, David Price and Jake Peavy, meaning there's nothing that would necessarily compel their ongoing teams to trade these individuals.

Prospects like Dylan Bundy along with Kevin Gausman aren't moving anywhere, but the Orioles accomplish have attractive pieces for their farm system should the suitable match be found.

A return to the Oakland Raiders may not bring Charles Woodson any closer to another Super Bowl, but signing with the franchise that originally drafted him would be a fitting conclusion to his Hall of Fame career.

Once a key component of the Raiders' revival in the early 2000s, Woodson could now help accelerate an even more daunting rebuild by adding a veteran defender with championship experience to the locker room.

Such a return appears to already be in the works. The Raiders have reportedly joined the fray for Woodson, who has otherwise received mostly scant interest as a free agent this offseason.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Friday that Oakland has invited the 36-year-old defensive back for a visit on Tuesday. Rapoport also reports that the Denver Broncos, New York Giants and Carolina Panthers remain in play for Woodson.

If playing for a contender is truly Woodson's primary deciding factor, the Broncos, Giants and Panthers can each present rosters closer to playing in the Super Bowl than that of the Raiders. And although Woodson said on NFL Network this week (per Pro Football Talk) that he'd play for anyone now, you'd have to assume his preference will still lean the way of the better roster.

It's also very possible that the Raiders would balk at getting into even a mini-bidding war for Woodson, given their current salary cap situation. According to Over the Cap, Oakland has just under $4 million in cap room for the 2013 season.

But if the Raiders could both convince Woodson to once again play for a rebuilding project in the Bay Area and agree on contract numbers, such a reunion could be mutually beneficial.

Woodson could play a maximum number of snaps in 2013 for a roster riddled with holes, while the Raiders would get a veteran leader—and one familiar with general manager Reggie McKenzie—to help guide a franchise on the rebound.

Back in 1998, a struggling Raiders franchise drafted Woodson with the fourth overall pick. A Heisman Trophy winner at Michigan, Woodson entered the NFL with as much fanfare and natural talent as any cornerback since Deion Sanders in the late 1980s.

By 2001, Woodson had already walked the walk in Oakland. He was named to four Pro Bowls and three All-Pro teams in his first four years, and the Raiders improved from 4-12 in 1997 to 8-8 in both 1998 and 1999.

After a run of just three playoff appearances in 14 years prior to the 2000 season, the Raiders were finally back amongst the NFL elite.

The post-Super Bowl hangover hit Oakland hard, as the Raiders won just 13 games over the next three seasons. Woodson's attitude deteriorated as the losses piled up. By 2006, Woodson and the Raiders were ready to move on.

After signing a free-agent deal with the Green Bay Packers in the spring following 2005, Woodson would go on to win a Defensive Player of the Year award in 2009 and his first Super Bowl ring in February of 2011.

Now, Woodson has a chance to bring all the maturity and wisdom he gained in Green Bay to a franchise still searching for its own identity. The Raiders may not turn into a perennial playoff contender under Woodson's watch, but he can help point the Oakland locker room in that direction during his remaining NFL career.

Keep in mind, the Raiders will enter 2013 on the heels of 10 straight non-winning seasons. There's little harm in McKenzie adding some winning culture to his rebuilding effort.

Woodson would likely rather play for Super Bowls at the end of his Hall of Fame career, but there could be sentimental value in returning to Oakland and helping the Raiders climb out of cellar once again.

Vikings Introduce Designs For New Ground: Giant Bottle Opener? Fort Of Solitude? We Think It Looks Types of Cool.

OK Minnesotans, here's what that $500 million in public money approved by the state legislature is buying most people. The Vikings unwrapped designs because of their new stadium on From monday, and let's face it: some of you will hate it, some could very well love it, and some are sure to want to grab C3PO, take the land speeder over there and see if any droids are for sale.

Cost? Across the total gross receipts of Revenge of the Sith: $975 million. There's zero retractable roof, as is popular with young stadiums lately. But since a house would be closed usually anyway, why jack the price? Instead, it's very glassy, and has large (95 feet tall) retractable doors, giving it type an outdoorsy-feel.

The ground will seat 65, 000, and is likewise used by the University of Minnesota (see baseball configuration associated with the photos below).

Some can see the prow of a ship in the high roof at 1 end, said Michele Kelm-Helgen, chairwoman of the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority, which is overseeing manufacturing. Others say the shiny blocks be like ice floes.

Kelm-Helgen called the look a "really interesting, beautiful piece of architecture" that is "iconic" and a great addition for the neighborhood.

"I'm sold, " former Viking teacher Bud Grant said right at the end of a program of which featured several speakers as well as a presentation from Bryan Trubey, pattern principal at HKS, that stadium architect.

3UP Golf ball Review.

It occurs opinion that it must get incredibly difficult to break within the golf ball business. Creating a ball requires expertise around aerodynamics, physics, materials sciences, manufacturing and probably more than a few things I can't envision. Then there's patent legal requirements. The big ball makes have vast patent portfolios as well as the new guy on the market must either figure out a way to avoid them, or signal licensing agreements.

The 3UP 3F12 is often a three piece, cast urethane ball with 318 dimples and then a 90 compression. In that, the 3F12 is much like other "name" manufacturer's a few piece balls. Below is some data provided by 3UP:

3UP distinguishes itself in what it says is some sort of softer feel and substantially higher short iron rewrite rate than on very much the same balls. The difference is apparently inside cast urethane cover. There are the peculiar property to be both soft and a bit tacky.

The published spin rate for the 9 iron is 9, 032, while the initial spin rate up from the driver is 3341. Used, I've found the 3UP 3F12 to become a high-performing ball. As this literature suggests, I'm especially content with its play around that green. Playing with a 3F12, I've had some remarkable rounds recently along with wedges, pitching and chipping.

Off the tee, and with irons, it also performs well for me. With my swing speed, I still think I get more distance from the Wilson Duo, but the 3F12 may replace that with better performance within the green.

My only concern is to use the price. A dozen of the 3F12 balls are priced at $39. 99. While that's cheaper than the Pro player V1 and Bridgestone B330, it truly is still more expensive than other model three piece balls. Th 3F12 is a superb ball, but my thought is when given a choice concerning a name and an upstart, people will go to your name unless you will find there's significant price difference.

Nonetheless, if you are a fan with the Pro V1 or additional "premium" balls, I suggest that you try the 3Up 3F12. I do believe you'll be pleasantly shocked.

Tottenham vs. Sunderland: Complete Premier League Final Day Preview

A win at White Hart Lane coupled with a Newcastle result against Arsenal would give Spurs the fourth-place finish and Champions League berth that they have been aiming for.

While new manager Paolo di Canio will not be looking for his players to throw in the towel, it wouldn't be surprising to see them check out for this one.

Sunderland will not be with left-back Danny Rose for this one, as the defender is on loan from Tottenham and has now returned to the north London club.

There are even more problems for Sunderland, as Stephane Sessegnon and Craig Gardner are suspended for their red cards while Lee Cattermole and Steven Fletcher are injured.

Spurs will hope that winger Gareth Bale can come through for them once more in this one and give them some hope of getting into the Champions League.

Sunderland, on the other hand, will be relying on goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, who has had a relatively good season and will need to have a good match to cope with Bale's threat.

On the other side, Sunderland have gone through a dry spell since the initial boost they experienced from hiring Paolo di Canio, going winless in their past three matches while working their way to safety.

The earlier meeting between the clubs this season was a memorable one, with Spurs overturning a one-goal halftime deficit away from home with two goals in three minutes.

Whether their performance will be enough to help them reach their goal of Champions League football, though, will be determined in Newcastle.

Tiger woods Is A Liar, Or No Liar, Depending On Which Marshals Where you will Believe Are Liars.

-Tiger Woods is some liar. Hey, we're not dealing with the infidelity thing (anymore), we're dealing with what he did in the second hole at the Sawgrass TPC. He talked about the marshals told your ex Sergio Garcia had consumed his shot, which is not true. The marshals don't even discuss with players. Tiger Woods: negative person!

-Tiger Woods is not really a liar. We're still talking about the Sawgrass TPC. The other marshals with him did in truth say that Garcia previously had hit. The marshals talk to the players on a regular basis. Tiger Woods: not a nasty person!

So who would you believe? This confusion brought about that famous little squabble involving Woods and Garcia, so it'd be nice to understand who's to blame in this case, if there is anyone to blame.

"He didn't ask us nothing and we didn't say nothing, " Anderson thought to SI about Woods. "We're told don't talk to the people. "

"Nothing was believed to us and we certainly said nothing to the dog, " North told CUANDO. "I was disappointed to be controlled by him make those feedback … he was saying the fact that was good for him. That lacked character. "

In the other corner, a follow-up to your Florida-Times Union in Jacksonville, with marshals Brian Nedrich together with Lance Paczkowski:

Nedrich, exactly who said he could just see Garcia, got a good glimpse of him nudists, then saw the ball with the air. When fans behind Woods did start to stir, Paczkowski, his enjoy of Garcia blocked as a result of bushes, tried to calm them and said, "the other player (Garcia) hasn't reached yet. "

"That's as i yelled back at Puncture, 'No … he's now hit, '" Nedrich talked about. "Tiger had already utilized his club, but we did simply tell him that Sergio had arrive at. "

"It's disingenuous to claim that Tiger is a liar because he got any small detail wrong, " Nedrich claimed. "Basically, he told in reality. "

"Tiger Woods don't lie, " Paczkowski said. "Was there a small mistake in what he or she remembered? Yes. But I don't think it rises to the amount of lying. "
