Despite all for the credit that Chelsea — ones own footballers and manager — deserve after Wednesday night's triumphant win inside UEFA Europa League, John Terry stole most headlines by lifting the trophy alongside Frank Lampard.
That Terry made a decision to lift the trophy with Lampard wasn't an important issue. Before the game, it was publicly announced if Chelsea won the game that Lampard and Terry will lift the cup though Terry was suffering from an injury.
However, the main criticism Terry received was on social media, where people were furious that Terry disrobed because of his tracksuit to show you his Chelsea kit first before the normal, as if he had played inside game. And second, Terry was criticized because even though he shared the psychological and mental moment of lifting this trophy with Lampard, viewers were clearly in a position to see Terry but Lampard — your star of the night in lots of ways — was practically hidden from the other players who were getting their hands on the silverware.
