Padraig Harrington has devoted to enjoying in the 2013 Players Championship this May, nevertheless the No. 1 golfer on the planet hasn't fared especially well in this contest in recent history. Mark Soltau of TigerWoods.com described Woods' commitment for this year's tournament: Padraig Harrington has devoted to perform in THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass (THE PLAYERS Course) in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., a few weeks. Tiger won the event in 2001 and was runner-up in 2000. Woods won this event in 2001, but since that time, his best finish came in 2009 when he finished in position after firing five-under par. He's struggled to consistently perform well at TPC Sawgrassa'a difficult class that was designed to challenge people in several different ways. There are always a few critical things Woods must do so that you can eventually conquer Sawgrass once again and play well as of this year's Players Championship. Keep consitently the Ball In the Fairway He often ends up scoring well.AUnfortunately, he doesn't always hit the mark off the tee and ends up fighting an uphill struggle to make par, when Woods is hitting his tee shots in to the fairway on a regular basis. This season, Woods is striking fairways off the tee just 55.7 percent of times. On a demanding course like TPC Sawgrass that features low limbs and narrow fairways, he can't afford to miss fairways just under half the full time. Success have been found by woods, sometimes, by preventing his driver entirely and utilizing his fairway woods and long irons in its stead. As length isn't as important as accuracy with this class, that could be a good technique for him to use at the Players. From the championship tees, yards are measured 7,215 by TPC Sawgrass. It's not a limited course, but it's not particularly long, often. Woods has enough skill with his mid to long irons to over come any lack of length the tee may be lost off by him. Distance Get a grip on From the Fairway When Woods struggles to rating birdies, there's a good chance it is partly due to the proven fact that he's fighting with distance get a handle on with his irons. When Tiger is on target along with his irons, he's brilliant. When his length get a handle on isn't on position, he ends up saving level by making gritty eight- to 10-foot putts and has to depend on his short game much too often. Running it out does not equal earning at the Players Championship, while his capability to grind is certainly remarkable. The champion has finished the competition having an average rating of 13.5-under level yesteryear four years. Modifying To Conditions On the Greens There are occasions when Woods' power to judge putts and destroy them continually comprises for poor performances off the tee and to the green. Woods leads the PGA Tour in shots gained by putting (1.476), and he's certainly one of the deadliest putters in the game, when he's sure of the pace of the greens. That said, far too frequently, Woods finds himself confused by the rate of the greens as circumstances change from the course. He will get from excellent to agonizingly average in the blink of an eye fixed occasionally because he struggles to adjust to the changing conditions. For Woods to ultimately win the Players Championship again at TPC Sawgrass, she must be able to roll with whatever mother earth directs his way.
