THE boyband took time out from their tour to meet the players, including Tulisa Contostavlos's boyfriend Danny Simpson, ahead of their final gig at Newcastle's Metro Arena.
The boyband made a low-key visit to the Premier League side's base in the Benton area of the city ahead of their final night of a series of concerts at Newcastle's Metro Arena.
One Direction were finalists on the programme, while United right back Danny Simpson is dating judge Tulisa Contostavlos.
After the meeting, Simpson posted a photo of Harry Styles in which the One Direction singer was posing topless, showing his tattoos.
