I first saw The Pill at the 2013 PGA Show, and I immediately named it to my aBest of Showa list.A Shortly afterwards, I'd The Pill set for a total review.A So, may The Pill function as kind of training aid that I form a lifelong connection with, or is it only a one-night stand? While itas perfectly easy to understand how to use The Pill, really using it does require a while and effort.A The Pill needs to be aimed perfectly if not it wonat act as intended.A This means that you 1) need to know the perfect line for the putt and 2) have to bend down and arrange The Pill perfectly on that line.A Though this isnat difficult once you figure out the best line, it can be laborious. Therefore, what is it that The Pill is wanting to teach us?A To be great at impact.A The Pill makes it harder to make putts with imperfect face angles.A Said another way, with a standard baseball, you can have your club face in a less-than-perfect place and still make putts.A With The Pill, that wonat work.A If you want to work on having a more-perfect face angle at influence, The Pill can teach you. While The Pill is absolutely effective in what it aims to accomplish, Longevity is where it really falls short for me.A When I said above, placing up The Pill is time consuming, and it must certanly be completed on every putt.A Set it up incorrectly, and you all but guarantee a miss (and potentially inaccurate feedback ).A This doesn't make putting more fun, nor does it make it easier on your back.A Since putting is already the least-practiced element of the sport, this is a deadly combination. I really do think you can find two sets of guys who might use The Pill on a lengthy period basis: guys with skilled caddies and guys trapped putting inside all winter.A Yes, that first one was tongue-in-cheek, but for the tennis lover putting on a strip of carpet all winter, the added challenge of The Pill might be worth the additional bending over and filling up. The Pill is available through The Pill website for ($12.95 each) or ($44.95 for 3) and a carrying bag.A While this price is much below the aaveragea price for a training aid, it must be recognized that this training aid is slightly more aconsumablea than the others due to the possibility of finding lost or being left somewhere.A The Worth report reflects a variety of great pricing and Effectiveness, but poor Longevity. The Peanut Gallery had a preliminary a reaction to The Pill that was just like my own: aThatas cool, and I get ita (The Peanut Gallery is always very proud of itself when it doesnat need a conclusion ).A After watching The Pill define seemingly-impossible curves across the pit, the acoola part started initially to reduce, but the aI get ita part grew.A After a few minutes of playing with it, the agreement was that The Pill was definitely tough, but there wasn't great interest in owning one. Although I like the idea of The Pill and find it very efficient at its stated purpose, I think that itas a neglect for the common player as a result of time involved in setting it up on every putt.
