Yaya Toure signals new contract at Manchester City - SB Nation

A new four-year deal have been signed by yaya Toure for Manchester City that'll keep him contracted to the Etihad Stadium until 2017. Manchester City have already been given a silver lining to their cloud of a year after Yaya Toure signed a fresh four-year deal with the team. The Ivorian midfielder has been one of many key players at the club since joining from Barcelona, and was instrumental in their concept win last year. Current reports had recommended that he was disenfranchised with life at the Etihad Stadium, but he's now reaffirmed his commitment to the team. Yaya Toure discussed his new contract on the club's official internet site, saying: "I can never forget how I've been treated here by the supporters, the club and the owners and nothing would give me greater satisfaction than to finish my career as a Manchester City person. "I desire to continue to produce history and continue successful titles and trophies. I have experienced every one of my time here and canat wait for the following chapter."
