Stoke can make another attempt to sign Bolton opponent Marcos Alonso at the end of the season, studies have said. The Potters were in the look to sign the former Real Madrid star during the January shift window but for one reason or yet another he kept at the Reebok Stadium.Alonso has satisfied for Dougie Freedman's part in 2010 but there's every chance he'll be on the move until Bolton tie him down to a brand new deal before his recent one goes out in the summer. There is no sign of that just yet and that might open up the doorway for Stoke to swoop. Employer Tony Pulis is delighted to have Marc Wilson back suit but he still wants more cover at left-back and Alonso is on his set of targets.Alonso does have additional options however and he might be persuaded to try his luck in Italy, where Fiorentina are showing an interest, if he does choose to leave Bolton.
