Arsenal FC, Man Utd goal Simon Mignolet can leave Sunderland FC - adviser - Crunchsports.com

Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, who has been associated with Arsenal and Manchester United, might be on the road come early july, according to his agent. Mignolet is thought to be resolved on Wearside and still has 2 yrs left to operate on his contract at the Stadium of Light. The 24-year-old has in recent times been associated with several groups including Arsenal and Premier League leaders Man Utd. And according to agent Guy Vandersmissen, a move far from Sunderland could possibly be on the cards at the conclusion of the growing season, with the Belgian eager to join a bigger team to be able to achieve international recognition. Mignolet is currently understudy in the Belgium team to Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois - who is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid. "Our desire is for Simon to play somewhere that he can take part in opposition with Thibaut Courtois for the spot in goal for Belgium," Vandersmissen was quoted as saying by Sky Sports. "Courtois is fortunate that he is playing for a staff that's been successful lately." Both Arsenal and United are generally considered to be interested in bringing in a fresh goalkeeper throughout the summer.
