José Mourinho answered questions at a press conference which took place after the presentation of the exhibition in Setúbal. The Whites' manager summed up his options of adding yet another Champions League trophy to his list of honours: "It will be tough. It is no big deal for me if I don't win the third. There are only eight teams left and, obviously, we all want to win it. Few managers have won three European Cups with three different teams".
When asked about the FIFA vote to elect the best manager of 2012, Mourinho said: "I feel very emotional about being back home among my people and because of the affection they have shown me; it is out of order to bring up this topic. I didn't go to the ceremony because I was told that things were unclear. If it turns out that they are, I can't be criticised for not going. There is nothing more for me to say except to thank those who said that something was up and had the honour and guts to speak out about it in public. No-one is in any doubt and for me it is time to move on. I don't want to talk about it again".
The Real Madrid manager was also questioned about the difficult period in which Sporting Lisbon now find themselves and to the question about how they can get out of the situation, he said: "So many things happen during our journey that you just never know. Things have happened that you don't know about and things could happen that you wouldn't know about. And also things can sometimes happen that you wouldn't believe, but I cannot speak as a fan of Sporting".
As for his future after he leaves Madrid, Mourinho stated that "it is not easy to find a new destination that he would enjoy after being in Portugal, England, Italy and Spain. I would like to take charge of the national team in the future, but later on. They have to try to qualify for the World Cup now".
Finally, María das Dores Meira, President of the Municipal Chamber of Setúbal, was full of praise for the Whites' manager: "There is a reason he is known as The Special One, he is special. The Spanish press often refer to him as el de Setúbal, which is why he is The Setúbal One. He will always be special for anyone who loves Portugal and Setúbal".
