A I met a Geordie man called Bob Polkinghorn in South Africa when I was eight or nine (1998). He was so enthusiastic about the team a his home was black and white, he'd a decorated montage in the garage, his puppy was black and white and named Keegan a that I thought he should be onto a very important thing, and used NUFC from that time forward. He really offered me authorized souvenirs and limited edition prints concerning the membership, accumulated quite a series and have therefore Iave continued this. My grandfather is from Middlesbrough, which is just down the road clearly, so we've a good little rivalry when weare in exactly the same division. Q Have you got to St Jamesa Park, or do you've plans in the future? A I continued a tour of St, and was in the united kingdom in December 2007. Jamesa Park. I've not managed to see a fit as NUFC were the opposite side of wherever I was in the united states (not well prepared on my own), but I plan to come over later this season to see a few matches. Q Just how many Newcastle supporters is there where you stay, and where do you watch the matches? A I started a site called Toon Fans South Africa (www.toonfanssouthafrica.co.za) and during that Iave had the oppertunity to meet up a few new supporters. We've a couple of local cafes we meet at to watch matches a' itas rising weekly that is great. There are always people walking around with the lines on, and fans always seem to stop and have a talk with the other person. Q Do you have any exercises you follow before matches? What do people model of you supporting Newcastle? A I am very superstitious in regards to NUFC. If, like last time, Iam wearing a certain item( s) of clothing while weare earning, I ensure that this is clear and ready for the following fit! People in South Africa challenge to understand us fansa reference to the team a' on being relegated, numerous people questioned me aDo you still support them now that theyave been relegated?a. They think it is hard to trust that not everyone supports the teams qualifying for the Champions League every year. Q What does Newcastle United mean to you? How crucial could it be in your life? A lot is meant by a Newcastle United to me. My weekends are planned by me (and now some weeknights!) around seeing fits. Iam not the happiest person to be around, If we eliminate. The starting of ToonFansSA suggests that I enjoy this soccer team. My goal in life, albeit really farfetched, is always to 1 day own the team, and help steep it in the beauty its fans therefore richly deserve a 50,000+ fans a week deserve trophies! Q What do you think of the summer season up to now, and what do you think will happen? A I do believe we've done brilliantly with the newest improvements in January a' theyave really served start the summer season for us. We had some injury trouble from the beginning of the season, and we werenat using the same fluidity as last season. The young ones did well for us in the group stages of the Europa League, therefore the future seems bright for some. I really hope we can quit on in the Europa League, and if we advance quite far (hopefully gain it), Iad be happy with a premier half finish. It isnat easy for Premier League clubs to do well in both the Europa League and the Premier League, therefore top half would be great. Q Whoas your favorite person, and what you think of Newcastleas new signings? A Steven Taylor, for me, only offers every thing this membership is approximately. He's a, come through the system, and you can view so I would say he is probably my favorite player, he gives 200% into every single minute heas on the pitch. Clearly we have various other close second favourites; our current crop of people carry therefore much to the dining table. The signings in the beginning of the growing season were outstanding a Vurnon Anita and Gael Bigirimana are great! The January spending spree did therefore much for the soul in the club following a hard first half the summer season, and weave been outstanding given that they joined! Each of them appear to be total bargains, compared to what some clubs pay for specific people, and indeed what weave often bought previously. I hope we hold all our big names in the summer, generate a few more big names at good prices, and thereas no reason we canat challenge for the Champions League jobs, and trophies are expected by no reason why we canat!
