Top-ranked groups keep dropping in ridiculous year

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) a' The top spot in The Associated Press Top 25 is the past place any team really wants to be this season. When Indiana lost at Minnesota on Tuesday evening, it was the time this season that the No. 1 group has been beaten. That's the best amount since 2009-10, based on STATS. And this year is not over yet. Second-ranked Gonzaga is set to increase to No. 1 in the next poll if the Bulldogs could possibly get through the rest of the week untouched. If that takes place, Gonzaga will be the fifth team atop the study in 2010. That would be the most since 2008-09. Authorities say that the lack of a prominent group is likely to make this year's NCAA event one of many most competitive in recent memory.
